I'm raising £250 to raise funds for Hanborough Cricket Club, in memory of my Dad - Hubert Busby

Story

Many of you will remember my Dad - Hubert Busby. Cricket was a very important part of my Dad's life, he was Chairman for the Hanborough Cricket Club for a good few years. He attended many of their matches.

The club are currently raising money to improve their facilities, so that more adults and juniors can enjoy this wonderful sport. This year they are fundraising to build a permanent, safe, all-weather cricket net at the playing fields.

The nets would be open to all the community to use - giving young people, families and casual players a free, local space to be active, or simply enjoy sport in a welcoming environment.

To support their fundraising, I am taking part in the Shakespeare Half Marathon in Stratford Upon Avon on Sunday 26 April 2026.

Your sponsorship will support me getting to the start and finish line, raise funds for an excellent cause, and be a lovely reminder of my Dad.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
