Story
Poaching is a pandemic worldwide. Species such as the pangolin and rhinoceros have almost been driven to extinction.
There are attempted incursions to Balule Private Nature Reserve on the Kruger National Park’s western boundary almost every day. Anti-poaching personnel and resources are stretched to their limit. At the front line of anti poaching efforts for the whole of Kruger, their responsibility extends well beyond their own boundaries.
Any funds raised are what the locals call 'bonus money' to help with better intelligence gathering, better training and a better equipped and motivated anti-poaching team. The ever increasing costs of anti-poaching efforts means budgets are always tight and these donations can make all the difference to the anti-poaching efforts.
In order to boost the fundraising effort, the companies and individuals listed below have very generously offered to sponsor prizes for use in a Sports Day 2018 raffle. Each £1 donated to this cause will qualify as 1 entry to the raffle.
