My name is Samrick Singh Bahia and I’m the founder of Focus Leukaemia. I founded this charity 5 years ago after I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia during my second year at the University of Worcester. Fortunately, I can now say I’ve been cancer free for 2 years, however, my fight doesn’t stop there. Each year I set a challenge to raise as much money as I can to help support blood cancer charities. With the support of many generous people, in total so far, Focus Luekaemia have raised £150,000, recruited more than 1,000 new donors to the Stem Cell Register. One of those donors happened to save someones life since signing up.

This Autumn, my best friend Jack Rowley and myself have set ourselves the ultimate challenge. In September 2018 we will be climbing Kilimanjaro in aid of Focus Leukaemia, to help continue supporting other vital charities. Any donation, no matter how small, would be extremely appreciated by the both us and the contributions will be literally life changing to many people.
