1 in 10 people globally lack access to clean water. The result of this is that they have to walk for hours, every day, simply to collect dirty water in the knowledge it will bring disease to them and their loved ones.

The impacts of dirty water on a community are countless but include extensive health issues, extreme poverty, marginalisation of young girls (who are often charged with collecting water rather than attending school) and an increase in violence being inflicted on those young girls who have to make that journey.

By contrast, bringing clean water to a community is transformative. It brings health, safety, a potential source of industry and pride. It changes lives.

That is why Field Sales Solutions has committed to raising £4,000 for the Cottman Foundation (registered charity number 1185449) to fund a new clean water well for a community in need in Uganda.
