I am raising money to kick start FREEDOM UK.

The aim of this support group will to help families recover from domestic violence. More often than not even after the victims leave, the abuser uses other forms of abuse-  Stalking,  harassment using the legal services,  isolating  the  victims from others,. and financial are just a few common forms of abuse inflicted. Life becomes  a  living  nightmare of on-going trauma. No child or adult should live in fear, with no where to turn.

I myself know the of effect domestic abuse and harassment, it is a dark lonely place. The worst part was the effect it had on my children, even though I did all I could to protect them- they witness things a child should never see, and made endure countless court cases, malicious referrals to social services.

The support we would offer:

Regular meeting/events-  knowing  you  are  not  alone  is  the  biggest  tool  to  recovery

Food  parcels  /  home  set  up  kits  /  Christmas  gifts
