Bradley's story

This is Bradley. He is an elderly stray cat who has been living in my neighbourhood for over 10 years.

When he first came to my house looking for food I tried to find out where he came from and whether he had a home. A neighbour told me his owner got bored of him when he was no longer a kitten and left him behind when they moved out. I felt sad for him, and as he started hanging around I gave him food. He has been visiting for quite a few years now.

As he got older his visits became more frequent and he started to stay in my kitchen at night to keep warm - i'd find him camped out on top of the fridge in the mornings - much to the dismay of my other cats, who weren't keen on him trying to move in!

For the last few winters he has been staying more often, so I ended up getting him a comfy bed to lie in (instead of the fridge). These days he spends every night there, in his kitchen bed. I feel bad that I can't let him in to the whole house, but he sprays everywhere, overeats all the food, and upsets the other cats. I do invite him in to lie on the sofa - but has to be supervised.

Last week he suddenly could hardly stand up and was disorientated i rushed him to the vets where he was tested and treated for arthritis and given pain relief this cost me £210,, this will be a on going condition that i can pay for,,he has recovered well and is almost back to his cheeky self again.

However whilst at the vets his teeth were checked and the vet advised me he would need some removed with a quote of £350 to £420 to which i just don't have.

I also have 3 other cats who are Cali , Gracie and Bygul ,, looking after and paying for there upkeep/vet fees is more than enough.

I would like to raise the money so Bradley can has dental treatment he needs so he can grow old pain free

Any donation no matter how small would be amazing,, thank you for taking the time to read "bradleys story".
