We are pleased to say after a very stressful and hectic day Sam is now in Addenbrookes. I flew with Sam with Scotstar who got us safely to Cambridge airport, Chris travelled by train. We would like to thank all the staff at Glasgow Royal children's hospital who cared for Sam and making it possible for him to be well enough to be transferred. They were absolutely outstanding and made us both feel a part of Sam's treatment, so thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Finally at 8.30pm tonight we received unofficial report that the scan revealed that fibres in the brain had sustained damage consequent with Sam's type of head injury. This does not affect him being flown to Addenbrookes but it does affect his long term rehabilitation. Also much to Sam's comfort the neck brace has been removed, even Sam helping the consultant to get it off bless him. So now we await the green light on being flown back to Addenbrookes, will let you know when. Thank you for your continued concern and support. Claire and Chris.

Sadly mri scan not happening today now, we've been told it's tomorrow pm. But on a positive note Addenbrookes hospital have accepted Sam and he will be transferred there as soon as transport is arranged. He has had a quiet day sleeping most of the time.
