I’m a 21 year old guy, I’m a full-time student and I’m affected by a condition called “overbite” and this happens when your upper teeth sit over your lower teeth and your lower jaw grows backwards. I have had this problem since I was a child and it makes my life so hard because I’m unable to eat normally because my jaws get really painful when I chew the food, I’m unable to pronounce words normally and it makes my face look really different than it should be. I’m literally living a living nightmare. My jaw problem makes me feel so uncomfortable and depressed that I avoid from going out from home and if I do because I have to, I always wear a jacket or something that covers my neck and jaw. I am even getting tired of living my life as what’s the point of living such a life where you avoid from going out and you have to hide your jaw when doing so, can’t chew and speak properly?

My parents never looked after me as much as they should have and now I’m too old to get the surgery financed by the NHS and I’m studying full-time and with my part-time job I can’t afford to have the surgery done.

I’m trying to raise £5,000 so that I can pay for this surgery.
