On the 1st of April 2019 I lost my Mum to heart failure. She was only 71 years old and it broke my heart.

Most of you will know just how important my mum was to me and the man I am today is down to the unconditional love and support she gave me throughout my life.

Mum was cared for in her last few weeks by the amazing staff at the critical care unit in Milton Keynes Hospital and I am hoping to raise some money to buy a much needed specialist chair which allow critically ill patients like Mum to be cared for in comfort.

On the 31st of July I am running home to Chester from Mums house in Milton Keynes.

The distance is around 150 miles and I will be running almost exclusively via the canal network.

I realise things are tight for many due to Covid but if you can spare anything it would be very much appreciated and I will be doing daily updates to show my progress.
