Below is what is happening with my friend and why I wish to help her and her family.

I'm writing to let people know how Dagenham council have let me down.
I split up with my partner and went john Smith house, to be told I couldn't go on the council list but can go private.
I have a son who is having treatment for leukaemia so needed to find somewhere decent to live with him.
I found a house and was told full rent would be paid.
Today I've been told I've got to find 300 pm to cover the rent.

I've been lied too and treated awfully by the housing officer. Promised that I would get my full rent paid. As of now I'm in 2 months rent arrears, to now be told if I'm kicked out I would've made my self intentionally homeless and the council will no longer help me.

I think it is disgusting how I've been treated, I've even been accused of benefit fraud by the barking job centre. Which even income support couldn't understand why as I hadn't done anything wrong.

So due to councils lies, I'm looking to be evicted with 3 children while my son is having treatment. Thank you very much barking and dagenham council!!
