I've raised £300 to split the money between The Little Princess Trust and Motion Control Dance.

I am raising money for two fantastic charities that are very important to me.
The Little Princess Trust - Making wigs for children and young people whom have suffered with cancer and hair loss.
Motion Control Dance - giving everyone in the Vale the chance to dance, giving amazing experience and opportunities.
My plan is to donate at least 12 inches of my hair to The Little Princess Trust and then split the monetary donations between the two charities.
I'm sure many people agree with me that when you think about your hair it's such a big part of who you are, whether it's long or short, blonde or pink it doesn't matter. It shows people the sort of person that you are without them having to speak to you, it also keeps you nice and safe away from the outside world.
There are so many people though who are having that taken away from them, kids who don't have that place to hide and feel comfortable. If all I can do with this fundraising is give up enough of my hair to be able to create a wig/opportunity for a child to have their hair back then that's enough. But to create this it of course takes money, most wigs cost between £350 - £500 to make, so anything that I can put towards this would be worth it.
For the last 17 years I've also been working with Motion control dance which is a charity which allows all people from whatever background, whatever age and whatever ability to have the opportunity to let their hair loose and do something that they enjoy. Spend time with people who don't care about who they are, what they've done or what their abilities are, people who will care about them and befriend them no matter what. It amazes me all the time how much can be done for so many people without realizing, dancing is something that I've done all my life and I always hoped that this ability would give me the opportunity to help people and befriend people who may not realize they're even looking for anything.
I understand that it's a difficult time for everyone at the moment, however if there's anything you can do, even a couple of £pounds then I can assure you it will go to so many people who will appreciate it more than any of us can appreciate a coffee. Thank you so much for all of your help,
