This is Laura. Laura is my best friend in the whole world. She is such a warm and vibrant person who lights up any room she walks in to. She's the sort of person who would give you her last penny to help you if it meant she goes without. Laura has a heart condition called Long QT. Last Friday Laura died of a massive heart attack and irreversible brain damage due to her heart condition. She was 26 years old. Words cannot describe the pain we as a family are going through right now and to have lost my best friend, I feel as if part of me has died with her. We are now trying to make plans for Lauras funeral but this is where the difficult part begins. We have spoken with nearly every single director where we are and they all need a minimum payment up front. We, none of us can afford what they are asking. If we cannot find any money towards Lauras funeral environmental health will step in and she won't have a funeral. We will have no where to go to say goodbye and no ashes to scatter.
