Peterborough Phoenix are a longstanding Ice Hockey team that play out of Planet Ice, Peterborough. We are part of the large Ice Hockey family in Peterborough and we are raising money so that we can purchase and install a life-saving defibrillator at the Ice Rink.

One of our team mates lives with a potentially life threatening heart condition which means having a defibrillator near by could be the difference between life and death should anything happen. We also know that there is a member of the Peterborough Phantoms Womens team who also has a serious heart condition and would benefit from having a defibrillator. In addition to these two known players within our larger hockey family, there will be others who could unknowlingly require the assistance of a defibrillator in a life or death situation and we want to make sure there is one to hand when needed. Please help us make this a reality!!

We will be hosting a charity ice hockey game on 11 December 2021 at Planet Ice Peterborough (8pm faceoff) as part of our efforts to raise money for the defibrillator. In addition to the charity game, we will also be holding a Quiz and Music night at The Court on 4 December 2021 starting at 5pm. It is £2 entry, Live band at 7:30pm, and quiz teams of 5 for £5. We will have raffle tickets, cake sales and lots of laughs. Proceeds go directly towards the defibrillator fund.
