I have been chosen to go on a trip with QE sixth form college to Mongolia for 3 weeks in Summer 2018. Whilst there we are taking part in a community project; working closely with the locals and orphaned and deprived children to build more classrooms, and teach lessons in their summer camp. By building classrooms we can ensure more and more children can benefit from our project. During the trip, we will be sleeping in tents within the community, and eating the local cuisine, allowing us to interact as much as possible and experience Mongolian culture. As well as helping the community, our itinerary includes a 5 day horse back trek in the desert and finally 3 days in Beijing on the way home, where we will see the Great Wall.
