I've raised £2100 to support two causes close to Sam’s heart and ours , the brilliant Uplands Enterprise Trust and the Swindon Downs Syndrome group.

When Sam was born in 1991 a young Swedish doctor told us “Apart from the obviouse, you have a healthy little boy, now go live your lives”.
Downs Syndrome was frightning to begin with but after 30 years I realise Sam has taught me more than I have taught him. He has taught me so much about unconditional love and no matter how bad my day has been, his smiles and sense of humour always make it better. His achievements can still shock us. Recently becoming a finalist for an Unsung Hero Award for supporting essential workers throughout the Covid 19 epidemic.
Sam has a way of making all those around his smile and his Challenge 21 fundraiser will hopefully be able to raise enough money to spread some extra smiles and spread positive Down Syndrome awareness to the wider community.
