I've raised £500 to Sam is a visually impaired 11 year old with a passion to ski Para GB 🇬🇧

Sam is a visually impaired 11 year old and after trying many different sports, he discovered skiing was the one for him. He started on a dry slope at the age of 5 and looked forward every week to his lessons. As parents of a child with a disability, we want to be able to encourage him to gain confidence in any way that we can, and this has really helped. Since then he has skied in the Regional Team and in 2015 he came 5th out of more than 30 regular sighted boys.
Sam has skied in the Norfolk race team for two years. One year ago, Sam was asked to train with the pathways Para-GB Squad at Milton Keynes. Sam and I (his mum) and his guide Max Wheatman are now starting the journey of training together to represent GB. We have two training trips abroad this year; one which was in April and the other in October to Austria (Hintertux Glacier) along with regular trips to our local dry slope and our closest snow centre in Milton Keynes (a two hour drive away.
We have to self fund all these trips and need all the help we can get. Sam greatly appreciates your support.
Many thanks,
Beki
Any funding will go directly to Sams training and Kit
