Hello everyone,

As many of you know, Yasmine suffered a traumatising experience outside her home in London on Monday night (26th Februrary 2018).

While walking back from her local supermarket, she was assaulted and robbed by two guys on a motorcycle. One of the guys repeatedly punched and kicked her to the ground while shouting racist abuse. The other took her valuables, and then they rode off to repeat this attack on their next innocent victim.

Not only was Yasmine emotionally damaged by this attack, but she was left with severe bruising to the body and a bleeding head. They stole her phone, rent money and groceries. She feared for her life. She also feared for the many kids she mentored who might need to contact her and could now no longer do so.

Yasmine is a selfless humanitarian from Canada and the USA. She does a lot of humanitarian work globally as well as charity work for the homeless and forgotten. She has dedicated her whole life to helping others, by couselling youths and delivering inspiring speeches around the world about her own struggle with cancer and hardships she‘s endured. The vast majority of these projects are self-funded.

For most people, Monday’s incident would be a major setback. However for someone like Yasmine, it as an opportunity to bring further awareness to attract global assistance for today’s real world issues. She would never ask for financial help from anyone, even in times of desperate need. But we feel it is only right that karma is kind to her for a change.

Given how many wonderful friends she has, and the moral support she has received over the last few days, we are hopeful of hitting our target of raising £2,000 for Yasmine. This money would go towards recouping her financial losses, which includes her rent money, food and phone costs. If we each chipped in as little as £10, we can get there.

Now is the time to help our dear friend. It‘s time for humanity to give back to assist her in her path. We must unify and support this amazing person that never asks for things in return for her good deeds.
