Story

I will be embarking on this expedition with a team of 14 other people .This trip will allow us to be independent as we will be raising all the money ourselves .when we get to Tanzania we will organise transport and accommodation by ourselves .The world challenge expeditions programme, will allow us to develop leadership, teamwork and decision-making skills while travelling abroad and really engaging with another culture . While we are in Tanzania we will get the chance to trek on Mount Longido and embark on a Safari in the Ngorongoro crater . We will also get the chance to plant some trees on Mount Kilimanjaro . After our trekking phase we will go and stay with a rural community where we will live like them , eat like them and work with them on one of their community projects .

Why world challenge

World challenge helps students to achieve more than they thought possible by stretching beyond their comfort zones on physically strenuous treks. They reap the benefits of hard work on community and conservation projects, living and working alongside local people and embracing their culture. Travelling to amazing destinations, they see unmissable cultural sights and enjoy adventurous activities from white water rafting to zip-lining and wildlife safaris.

Every expedition offers its share of challenge and adventure; this is why we embark on expeditions, to enable us to push ourselves and learn. Having an understanding and appreciation not only for your own safety, but also for that of your team mates is a crucial life lesson for students.
