Sree Narayana Sevika Samajam is a charitable organization situated at Thottumugham, Aluva, Ernakulam District, Kerala, India which is also known as Sree Narayana Giri. This facility seeks to give a home to those who would otherwise have none and provides care and education for children , a women’s refuge and a home for elderly women with physical and mental disabilities. This orphanage was founded by my Grandparents Sahodaran Ayyappan and Parvathi Ayyappan in the 1960s . Thanks to the amazing work of the pioneering women who have managed and supported the facility since those early days, the Giri now provides many health initiatives that are relevant to health visitors eg supporting expectant mothers and mothers of preschool children.

In November 2017 I am returning to Kerala with my parents after many years. To mark the occasion I would like my friends and colleagues to sponsor me as I run my first ever half marathon in Manchester this October, accompanied by my good friend Maria Philippides. Please help me to reach my target and help these amazing women with their outstanding work.
