Story
Yesterday my 13 year old Nephew, Christian, was run over by a bus on his way to school. His twin brother, Luke, watched this happen. He held Christian's hand and tried to stop the bleeding whilst he was trapped under the bus. He raced home to fetch his Mom. He had a blood transfusion at the side of the road whilst waiting for the air ambulance. He suffered extensive injuries but was still conscious at this time and held his Mom's hand.
He was flown to Birmingham Children's Hospital but died of his injuries in the helicopter. His heart couldn't cope with the blood loss.

He has left behind his twin, an older and younger brother and his sister.
Due to the sudden nature and the fact we don't have much money between us, I'm asking for help so we can arrange a funeral that he deserves.

7 years agoOn behalf of all of Christian's family, I would like to thank each and every single person that has donated to the page and left condolences and memories of Christian. We cannot even begin to find the words to show the gratitude we feel. Thanks to everyone's generosity, Christian is going to have a beautiful funeral that will do him justice. This wouldn't have been possible without your generosity, it has eased the worry and financial burden at what is the worst time of our lives as a family. Thank you from each and everyone one of us xxxxx

7 years agoWe have taken the decision to end the page today instead letting it run for another 2-3 weeks. This was a hard decision, however, as I couldn't withdraw the money before the 31st or receive it before Christian's funeral in November, it made it impossible to pay for the funeral in time. Therefore the page will close tonight and we will be able to pay for Christian's funeral in time. Once the funeral has been paid for and i've donated £1000 to the Air Ambulance, what's left will be used to support the family and Christian's siblings.

7 years agoThis was only about 2 years ago. During the heatwave I took the kids to a local pool for a swim. It's random days like this, where I'll miss Christian's presence more than anything 😢

I am Christian's Uncle Samuel. Having to see the pain and suffering my family is going through is horrific. Watching my sister have to leave Christian in the hospital was heart breaking. I want to help with the worry of the funeral.
