Last Summer Samuel Montagu Football Club re-launched in Kidbrooke, (Greenwich), London. We are a grassroots football club offering children professional coaching by ex- professional players. Our mission is to provide high quality training and coaching which will help young people to play with freedom. We believe that “Every Player Counts!’

Here at Samuel Montagu FC we also believe in giving back to the community and charities which is within our club ethos. Our new U15's team have decided to take up the challenge of walking 26.2 miles via the same route as the London Marathon on Saturday 11th July to raise money for their team and their chosen charity. Our U15's Manager Kieran has chosen to give half of our fundraising money to Denny to reach his target to help with his aftercare along with his little Sister who is currently in remission.

Denny is a beautiful 7 year old boy who has ALL Leukeamia. Sadly, Denny's recent stem cell transplant hasn't cured him, meaning he urgently needs further treatment that the NHS can't fund. The money that is being raised will fund his treatment abroad. From the original £500,000 they needed to raise there is just £11,000 left to raise to reach their goal. His little life has been nothing but hospitals, sickness and pain, please let's give him one last chance, one last fight!

**** UPDATE **** Dennys fundraising group has now raised the £500,000 needed for his treatment in America which is AMAZING!! However, we must keep going to reach our target as this will go towards Dennys' aftercare during and after his treatment plus towards the travel costs for his trip to the states.

Kieran and his partner Emma have now decided to walk a total of 209 miles from Wednesday 3rd June ending with the team/club marathon on the 11th July.

Every donation counts, no matter how large or small.

Lets try and raise as much money as we can for all these boys and especially for Denny. Please dig deep and give what you can in these difficult times.
