Story

Jack and Isha are joining Morris and I on the Wild Air Run, in Bristol on the 30th Sept.

We are raising funds for Oakleigh Sanctuary Project, a Mental Health respite house which supports people throughout Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

The project relies on donations to enable it to continue to offer guests Holistic therapies, Arts & Crafts, Cooking & Baking to name but a few of the activities available.

The aim of the project is to empower guests and give them the support they need to be able to maintain their mental health and avoid hospital stays.

Simple things like having a coffee out, preparing a meal, for some even leaving the house, can be quite challenging for people living with Mental Health. Oakleigh offers the help needed in a safe and supported environment. It also gives otherwise isolated people the chance for some social interaction without the fear of being judged.

All the monies raised will go straight into supporting these activities enabling guests to make small achievements which can make a big difference.
