We're raising £25,000 to help with the cost of supplies; feed; fencing; specialist farrier and high veterinary bills at our sanctuary for rescue animals as we're really struggling.

We would really appreciate your help as we've been facing rising costs; extreme weather conditions and a very sick, high-dependancy rescue pony called Diesel. He is now in need of a specialist farrier with bespoke miniature hoof pads, remedial shoes and specially-made hoof boots. He will now also require more frequent Farrier visits, which are expensive but vital for his welfare, quality of life and survival.

We have a number of poorly animals resulting in large, outstanding vets bills. Not only do the vet visits cost us, but the injections and treatments that the vets provide, plus the supply of medicines, hoof sprays, powders, painkillers and antibiotics for us to administer afterwards.

Due to the extreme weather, the animals are needing more hay each day and so we're going through our hay supply at the double the speed and needing more regular, bigger hay deliveries.

Due to the threat of laminitis and Diesel's illness, the miniature ponies have to stay in a restricted paddock at the moment with soaked hay. To keep them mentally and emotionally happy and stimulated, we've been providing them with a number of low-sugar foraging treats and snacks to keep them busy. Whilst they're fantastic, they're costly (particularly in the quantities we're buying)
