Have finally got a date for my stem cell transplant. The 23rd of Oct is the date i go in, and this is where the hard really starts. Thankfully, they have been able to use my own stem cells, so no chance of rejection. It will be a long process, a week of intensive chemo, after which i will get my stem cells. 3-4 weeks of isolation, whilst i wait for my blood count to go back to normal. A last push to try and raise a little bit more money, for a great cause. Would love to be able to reach my target. Please share. Thank you 🙏

So first cycle of chemo done, not going to lie it was emotional. In terms of sickness, it wasnt so bad. Feeling it today tho, its really taken it out of me. But on the plus side, i was able to come home today. But not without a goody bag full of all the tablets i have to take in a day, 29 tablets with my breakfast, 8 before i go to bed and all the ones in between its easy 40+ tablets. Im back in Aberdeen on Tues for day 8 chemo, yayyy. Thank you so much for the support, something else that has had me very emotional. #kickass

Today i started my R-DGP chemo (Retuxamab) apart from a little reaction, and it taking a bit longer, it went pretty smooth. If the rest are same i will breeze though is. Tomorrow tho i get the rest. (Gemcitabine, Dexamethasone and cisplatin) From what ive read and been told ive got a feeling it might not go so smoothly. Tomorrow will be a test. Ive been told lately that im a tough cookie...#kickass
