I've raised £1500 to Short Term Mission Trip to Koruput, India to serve at Angel Home Orphanage, carrying out some practical work on the building.

I am a Baptist Minister based in Aldershot. God laid India on my heart and then I found out about Angel Home in Koraput, India.
Angel Home founded in 2008, is an orphanage in rural India that aims to be a safe home and a loving family for orphans and semi-orphans living in villages where extreme poverty is heavily present. Angel Home aims to provide their children with a positive and bright future allowing them to break away from the cycle of poverty. They do this through giving their children access to n education and encouraging them to dream big!
A young Lady from Portsmouth Family Church fell in love with the kids at the Orphanage and she is committed to continually support the children and the Home. She is organising a team of us t go out in Feb to carryout necessary jobs at the Home. We will be putting up fences, fitting a water tank, fitting solar panels, building a store room for items of clothing and other materials needed for new and existing children. We need to pay for flights and ship a container with all the equipment in, plus buy all the materials required. I have set an amount that we need to raise but this is only part of the money needed.
Personally I have never been on a mission trip before, I am very involved with local mission, helping the homeless and the community where I live and serve but I feel this trip is a personal challenge for me but I need your help to be able to get there and meet the children and to roll my sleeves up to get stuck in. I am fortunate to be born in the UK and relatively I have had a fortunate life, I really want to help give something back to those less fortunate and to spread and share the Love of Jesus with others.
I know there are so many good causes that you can give to but please if you are able to give even a small amount towards this trip it would mean so much to the children of Angel Home. Thank-you
