Dear friends and family it comes with great sadness to share our story about our beloved sister Janeth Aguilar. On the night of the 3rd of June she became increasingly ill which started with pain in her side. It turned out she has pancreatitis and needed to have an urgent operation. The operation did not go well and she hemorrhaged which has caused a big internal bleed and left most of her organs starved of oxygen. Now only 40% of her pancreas is functioning and her lungs and her liver is going through intensive therapy. Her chances of survival were near to zero but with hope she is fighting to survive. Particularly for her 9 month old daughter who is missing her dearly. It comes as shock to all that surrounds her that she is going through this at such a young age of 36. She was waiting for her visa to move back to New York to be with her husband and baby together as a family but during this time she became very ill and did not have any health insurance in her home country in Ecuador. We have all tried our best to raise money as we can no longer support her in a private hospital and she needs to have the rest of her care in a state hospital, however the doctors have said that it would not be advisable to move her until she finishes the treatment. We ask you to kindly help support us financially with any donation possible whatever you can do to help we will be eternally grateful as she desperately wants to fight for her life. Queridos amigos y familiares, nos llena de tristeza compartir nuestra historia sobre nuestra querida hermana Janeth Aguilar. La noche del 3 de junio enfermó comenzó con dolor en el costado. Resultó que tiene pancreatitis y necesitaba una operación urgente. La operación no fue bien y ella sufrió una gran hemorragia interna y dejó a la mayoría de sus órganos privados de oxígeno. Ahora solo el 40% de su páncreas está funcionando y sus pulmones y su hígado están en terapia intensiva. Sus posibilidades de sobrevivir eran casi nulas, pero ella está luchando por sobrevivir. Particularmente por su hija de 9 meses que la extraña muchísimo. Es sorprendente para todos lo que la rodean que esté pasando por esto a tan temprana edad de 36 años. Ella estaba esperando su visa para regresar a Nueva York para estar con su esposo y su bebé juntos como una familia, pero durante este tiempo se puso muy enferma y no tenía ningún seguro de salud en su país de origen en Ecuador. Todos hemos hecho todo lo posible para recaudar dinero, ya que no podemos mantenerla en un hospital privado y ella necesita tener el resto de su tratamiento en un hospital estatal, sin embargo, los médicos han dicho que no sería aconsejable moverla hasta que ella termina el tratamiento. Le pedimos amablemente que nos ayuden economicamente con cualquier donación posible, sea lo que sea estaremos eternamente agradecidos ya que ella desesperadamente esta luchando por su vida.
