I've raised £7500 to help fund an Omi Vista Interactive Table Projector for our residents www.omi.uk

Here at The Sands Care Home, we are raising funds to buy our residents an Omi Vista interactive Table Projector www.omi.uk
This unique innovation connects older people in the moderate to late stage of their dementia journey with each other and with their surroundings, all the while stimulating movement, communication and mental engagement.
The interactive games break through apathy by stimulating both physical and cognitive activity and encouraging social interaction. Infrared sensors project games and activities onto the table and the colourful objects respond to hand and arm movement. The activities invite individuals to interact independently or in a group whether it be by using the reminiscence application, popping bubbles, cracking eggs, sweeping leaves or interacting with fish etc etc.
We are excited and confident that this piece of equipment will have a substantial impact on all our residents.
