The Sand Stormers have been friends and danced together for years as children. They collectively decided to return to ballroom dancing 3 months ago, some of them with an absence of 6 years. They were kind enough to ask me to join their team!

Between us we have won several British Championship titles. Together as a group, we wish to reinvest in our dance talents and represent South Shields. We are trained by the fabulous Stuart Hatton who is pushing us hard!

We are financing the lessons ourselves along with our own dance shoes, travel expenses and accommodation but we also need to fund our costumes..........

A typical dance dress consist of several layers of fabric for the skirts, a leotard and the option to stone. Think Strictly Come Dancing without their budget.
