Story

Last year, I decided that I wanted to set myself an annual challenge to get out of my comfort zone; and I had gotten very comfortable in life. So together with my good friends, Paul, Carl and Lee, we decided to climb Mount Snowdon. It was a trekking route, but for me personally, it was a huge achievement.

On the same evening we completed the climb, we decided that we would set ourselves a new goal.

This time round, the goal is still for our personal challenges, but with a purpose - we want to make a difference, however big or small. So we have decided to raise money for Arbour Vale School for special needs.

It is a school which really touched my heart, when a few years ago, I was invited to give a talk to parents, guardians and carers on how to improve the children's oral health care. I didn’t know what to expect and was completely overwhelmed by what I had experienced. The schools’ staff are so passionate about their purpose for the children. They give them such a wonderful opportunity to develop life skills, receive an education and make them feel so special, as they truly deserve.

Please take the time watch the link for the school and find out what a huge difference we can make together.

Life is about moments and we have the opportunity give these children some wonderful memories!
