I've raised £2500 to help Sanjay who helped his little nephew for 2 years with his fight against 2 failing kidneys. He sadly passed away, but the loans remained.

Story

I'm writing for Sanjay Krishna, a Nepalese hardworking man, who needs urgent help. I stayed at his small hostel in Pokhara two years ago and noticed that he was a warm person with his heart definitely on the right place.

During my stay he received the sad news that his little nephew, Shaligram (see older posts) got diagnosed with two failing kidneys. The chances for him to survive this diagnosis in a country like Nepal, were very small. He needed a kidney transplant and dialysis for a chance to survive.

Shaligram's mother passed away when he was 9 years old and his father was unemployed, which put all the pressure on Sanjay's shoulders. Sanjay took him in and payed for all the needed dialyses, the next 2 years. Unfortunately, there was not enough funds for a kidney transplant and after 2 years fighting, Shaligram passed away on the 19th of June 2018.

Sanjay is left with an empty feeling in his heart and with a dept of around 8000 USD as a result of paying for the dialyses in the last 2 years. He needs to pay this amount back in a short amount of time. You can imagine how impossible this is for a working class Nepalese and that's why he needs your help.

The first goal is to pay back his first big loan of around 3300 USD that needs to be payed in a month. Any donation, no matter how small, is more than welcome in this unfair situation for this brave Nepalese man.

Please donate and thank you
