Story

My name is Sansao Dumangane Junior. In August I plan to walk to Dublin, Ireland from my home at the foot of the Mourne mountains, Newcastle, Northern Ireland. A distance of approximately 93 miles this will be my third, final and longest walk for charity.
I will be raising money for 4 charities. Marie Curie, the well known Cancer charity that does invaluable work and offers vital support to Cancer sufferers and their families.
Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children, a charity with its base here in Newcastle that provides respite and care to children and young people and offers a wonderful retreat at the foot of the Mournes.
Newcastle Community Outreach, a relatively new charity that was set up by local man, Paul Lavery to help young people with mental health issues. It focuses on the well being of our local young people and offers immediate support to young people experiencing mental health crisis.
Mila's Help, a charity set up by myself. We support children in Mozambique, my home in Africa. We provide school supplies such as uniform and stationery to local children as well as running activities and special breakfasts occasionally. We also work with the Albino Community to provide specific health care such as special suncream and eyecare.
My walk will take place during the last week of August, exact start date to be confirmed in the near future. If you pass me along the road please do give me a beep and a wave to show your support, it just may spur me on! If you can afford to make a donation the charities and I will be extremely grateful.
