Story
We are raising funds to give emergency food packages to say thank you to frontliners, and for families in Negros Oriental, who are unable to work during the Covid-19 Enhanced Community Quarantine in the Philippines. As ‘no work, no pay’ is unfortunately common place, a lot of families are struggling to get food on the table during this strenuous time.
We are concentrating initially in the Santa Catalina area where our mums grew up, and where we spent most of our Summers.
The donations will go directly to the families, and we’ll be buying the food locally to support those who are still open for business, and packing the food ourselves whilst we’re here, so there are no admin fees 🙂 and it can all go towards aid.

4 years agoSurely these are tears of joy for crossing the £8k mark?! 😂🙈😭 She doesn’t like people (but she does like her new clothes), can we blame her? 😅 Thank you so much to everyone who is supporting our fundraiser. We are now adapting to the ‘new norms’ and have started helping small family run food businesses get off the ground, to give people a sustainable livelihood while school and their jobs have been suspended. All of your help is mega appreciated. THANK YOU THANK YOU 😁🧡🇵🇭
