My name is Sara, a 19 year old UK resident.

In late 2024 my father was diagnosed with cancer. After a major surgery to remove his rumour he received radiotherapy treatment which was targeted at his chest, which caused him permanent heart damage. However, due to the will of Allah SWT he has been recovering.

Due to me acting as his primary caretaker I had to take a leave of absence from university where I study law.

I’ve since resumed my studies but work a part time job to take care of our bills.

However, money has been really tight recently and it’s becoming more and more difficult to pay them.

The community we’re in doesn’t have many Muslims so there aren’t many people I can reach out to.

I make dua every night that the situation will improve. If any of my brothers or sisters can offer the same or anything that they have, even £5, it would really benefit us.
