I've raised £1000 to Funds for moving

Anthony, my brother in law, received a phone call yesterday, completely unexpectedly, that told him they were being given 2 months notice on what is called a no fault eviction.
For people like Anthony, who have been settled in a home for over 5 years now, where he has felt safe and secure, it is more than just scrambling to find alternative rental property. lt is detrimental to his mental health and his physical health.
Because of his health, Anthony simply can't just accept anything offered to him, even if he went via a local housing route. And their rules stipulate, you only get a limited number of refusals before you get removed from the list, irregardless of medical needs unless you can provide pretty strict proof. Not something easily obtained with the state of the NHS, or if the reality of your conditions doesn't meet their definition, which happens far more often than people might realise.
This leaves 2 main options. Private renting again, or trying to gain a mortgage. Both of these though are going to require much more money than Anthony gets. Just the cost of moving alone is going to be a huge strain on his finances. We have calculated that to even get a comparative rental property, he will need in the region of £8,000 to £10,000 to achieve it between fees and moving costs.
Therefore, we are putting together this fundraiser to try and help strengthen his financial position. While we know and appreciate times for everyone are tough, we ask for even the smallest donation, or failing that, sharing the post. It all helps.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
