As a disabled person our vehicle is my lifeline. With the cost of living crisis, we were faced with a larger than expected bill for its recent MOT that we simply couldn't afford. While we have paid a hefty amount - including £90 for parts we knew were needed, (that we had budgeted for) the rest is beyond our reach.

I didn't ever think we'd be placing a JustGiving page like this. But as a disabled person our costs are already well above the average.

Without the car, I can't make hospital or doctors appointments. I can't access doing simple things, as most vehicles like taxis or community cars, don't have space large enough to transport my electric wheelchair.
I simply don't know what else we can do.
If you can help we would truly appreciate it.
Receipts once paid will be uploaded to prove the work was done and it is a genuine need. They will have personal information that identifies addresses, car number plate etc blanked out. But as my photo here shows, it is a White Jeep compass. 2012 model if anyone is interested enough to know.
