On October 28th 2017 a team of runners will be running the gruelling 26 mile marathon around Snowdonia.

David was an avid sportsman and we know he would have loved to have joined us in this challenging race. He loved running and we enjoyed many races together as a team. In Davids memory we will be raising money for Merthyr and the Valleys MIND a charity that David was also passionate about. This charity does amazing work within our community and we hope that the money we raise will go some way to supporting people in Merthyr Tydfil and the Rhondda Cyon Taff.

Julie Smith, Julie Toy, Joni Parry, Louise Munkley, Sara Long, Ceri East, Kay Mack, Karen Bracegirdle, Graham Mack, Jonathon Rees, Anne Marie Montoto will be taking part alongside Davids much loved brother Mark Jones and his wife Emma, we will all complete this marathon together and do it in memory of David. We hope to do him proud.
