Story
We are events management students of 5 and will be holding a student social networking event (Afro-Caribbean themed) where students in london will be able to socialise and get to know each other in a traditional themed environment. All the money that will be raised from fundraising events and the event itself will be donated to our chosen charity Fight 4 Change.
Fight 4 Change is a registered Sport for Development charity, providing boxing, martial arts and fitness training to support, mentor and progress marginalised young people and those at risk of offending in deprived communities since 2009. They use the disciplines of boxing and martial arts to provide a sporting outlet for programme participants, including coaching, fitness, sparring and competitive opportunities - growing the sport of boxing in local communities and improving skills, fitness and co-ordination.
Their multi-skilled team of trained coaches, youth workers and education professionals provide positive activities for young people at key times, provide mentoring and support in making life choices, provide training and life skills, and support young people into mainstream education, training and employment.
We have chosen to support this charity as we believe the cause itself does not have much recognition and we believe that the youth is a very important generation for the future and being involved in the positive impact for the future is something we strongly want to participate in. This charity is the best way to keep your kids, grandkids, siblings and cousins out of trouble and leading them to the right path in life.
So please, participate in the fundraising of our event to raise money for this incredible, life changing charity.
