Story
Since 2014, emergency service staff at Southport Fire Station have provided a 3 course meal for local OAP's who either have no family or no family living locally. Until we began this project, we didn't realise just how many socially isolated elderly residents there are within our local communities. Please help us to ensure our guests have a Christmas Day to remember. All money received helps to pay for the food, the entertainment and the small gifts that our guests all receive. Thank you for taking the time to look at our JG page.

I am a paramedice who has worked for the emergency services for over 30 years. Every month, I meet local OAP's through my job who either have no relatives or who, due to mobility issues, find themselves socially isolated. The idea for these meals was inspired by one of them!
