Story

3 years ago our beautiful daughter (then aged 4) was asked what she wanted to do with her saved pocket money and birthday money. Her reply shocked us all when she said she wanted to buy food for people who had nothing at Christmas, this has now continued over the past few years and Nancy-Mae donates every year to our local food bank. She rummages through families cupboards and will do odd jobs around the house to earn extra money, her school has been amazing and will put out letters and a donation box at Christmas under one of the school Christmas trees.
This year has been tough for Nancy-Mae's family when Mamar (grandma) was taken ill and diagnosed with dementia, this year Nancy-Mae is working hard to fund money for her local food bank as well as now fundraising for dementia. Without wanting to take funds away from the food bank she has come up with extra ideas on how to fund both.. Her and her brother will be walking 50 miles of Pembrokeshire in October this year to raise money for both her causes.

Big thank you for reading our post, if nothing else I hope this will make you think about popping an extra tin in your shopping and donating it to a local food bank or popping any spare change into a donation pot for something that has or may be effecting yours or a loved ones life.
