Story
Sarah has been a friend of mine for over 11 years, she is a kind and caring person and a wonderful mum to James. She looks after everyone, listening to others, and making people feel good about themselves. She really is a wonderful person. Over the past few years Sarah has had to deal with so much, her brother sadly passed away in 2016 just three weeks before he embarked on his first Iron Man at the age of 43. While dealing with the loss of her brother she had to continue to run her business while supporting her family in such a sad time.
Life threw another curve ball for Sarah when on the 1st November 2017 she was diagnosed with the early stages of breast cancer , the operation showed that the cancer was grade 3 and was aggressive. On 7th February Sarah started chemotherapy.
Sarah deserves some time with her family to relax in the sun and plan her furure.
The donations will go directly to Sarah and this will mean she will be able to go away, recuperate and spend some quality time with the people she loves the most.
While spending many hours with Sarah while she pampered me we often talked about the Iron Man her brother and the urge for me to attempt such a big challenge. This year i have taken the plunge and entered. So in 2018 i attempt the biggest challnege ive ever done and it seems only right that I fundraise for this special lady.
Lets get crowdraising !!!
After chatting with Rachel as great as a holiday sounds right now I would much rather the donations be split between Bolton Breast Unit, The Christie and Macmillan. These are the services that saved my life and have offered fantastic support throughout the whole of my treatment so far.
Thank you Sarah x
