Hello, I'm Isla Bailey. I'm fortunate to have been chosen to represent Nottinghamshire and the UK at the 26th World Scout Jamboree in Poland in the summer of 2027.

The Jamboree is a huge global gathering of around 50,000 scouts from across the planet. I can't wait to meet as many as possible, to try new things and experience a variety of interesting cultures.

This only happens once every four years. It is a once in a life time opportunity for myself and others lucky enough to take part. Only a few scouts are chosen to go, after a long application process, to which hundreds apply.

However, this amazing opportunity costs a lot of money. I need to raise a total of £3,500 minus a £300 donation from district and county. This large sum is used to cover travel, accommodation and activities.

I've been busy already, selling cakes and working for people in my community. I've marshalled races, packed bags, fixed clothes and redecorated a bathroom! Even so, I have a long way to go.
