Betsy became poorly on her birthday last year (December 2021), 4 days later she was admitted to Rainbow Ward at QEQM, where she spent the next 10 days. Betsy was lucky enough that we were discharged just in time for Father Christmas to deliver her presents at home (it was looking unlikely at times). The staff on the ward were amazing and we are so grateful for their care and kindness.

Betsy has decided that she would like to raise money to buy Christmas presents for the children that will be in Rainbow Ward this year. In return for people’s genorisity, Betsy has promised to walk 10 miles through October to thank you. (10 miles doesn’t seem very far, but since Betsy’s hospital admission I can assure you its going to be tough for her!)
