Story
3 Old Blokes get back on their spokes to support the George Crawford legacy trust. Sadly George Crawford aged 20 lost his life in his first term at university, we all knew George well, we’re all family friends. George had a love for life especially farming, his motorcross bike and pony racing, his family have set up a trust in his name, they hope to award an annual bursary to anyone of similar age to George financially struggling to get into agriculture, and have already sponsored a pony race in his name and a pony to assist Riding for the Dissabled, and have many more plans.
In order to raise money the first fundraiser is a bike ride on 2nd June 2019, a total of 320 miles over 4 days from his home in Melrose to Harper Adams University where he sadly lost his life, each rider is hoping to raise over £600 each and every £1 will be paid to the trust.
George‘s Dad, family and a few of his friends are cycling with us. We are funding our own accomodation etc.
We’d really appreciate any donation towards this good cause, thank you for taking time to read this, Peter, Hugh and Simon
