Story
For the last 3 and a half years I have been volunteering at this fabulous charity, which was started at the beginning of original lock down.
Started in a lounge, which grew to an allotment shed, onto a church hall, now situated at The Meeting Place in Ip1.
As a team, we support families local to us who are in need of a little short term support. Support can range from a bag of food to get them through the week, a couple of packs of nappies and wipes or finding them a new bed or pram. If we can help we will!
As I'm sure you can appreciate these things dont come without donations, support and hard work, and of course the BEST TEAM.
So myself and group of friends are setting ourselves a challenge, (one of them has a big birthday this year 😉) we are all doing the Orwell 25 mile walk. We would really appreciate your support, with a donation of any sort. This support will enable us to carry on being a lifeline to some, give support to others and generally be a point of call to be there for whoever needs it.
Thank you so much for reading and watch out for updates of our training 😀
