🚨 URGENT APPEAL FOR DONATIONS! 🚨

In just 2 days, I have the opportunity to undergo a life-changing procedure—a celiac plexus nerve block in London. This procedure holds the promise of allowing me to stop surviving on a liquid-only diet, enjoy food again, alleviate my autonomic symptoms, and finally put an end to the excruciating pain I experience with every breath. Not to mention allowing me to finish my Masters degree in Clinical and Developmental Neuropsychology, which I’m very close to completing.

I’m acutely very poorly, it's hard to maintain my weight on my prescription liquid-diet, I’m in severe pain in my tummy and every breath I take hurts. Even drinking a glass of water makes the pain a lot worse.

I've had four A&E admissions in just the last two weeks where I’ve needed IV fluids due to my autonomic dysfunction. On Friday, the nurses had to take me to the loo as I couldn’t stand up on my own. I can't sit upright properly anymore because of the pain I’m in.

My celiac artery and celiac nerves are compressed, and I often feel suicidal because my physical pain is so severe. The nerve compression has severely affected my gut motility, and I rely on Peristeen or linaclotide to go to the loo.

Living with a body that's constantly battling various medical issues is an overwhelming challenge. My health continues to deteriorate. But this procedure could be a game-changer, offering relief and hope for a better quality of life.

My MALS symptoms started as far back as 2007 but my symptoms weren't believed by my doctors who blamed my “childhood trauma”. I had a mesenteric angiogram in December 2021 and was told I didn't need surgery: but they subjected me to a Mental Health Act Assessment and tried to section me.

I waited over two years for a second opinion from another vascular team who I saw in February - who put me on a year-long waiting list for MALS surgery in a year's time. Back in October, I was referred to Liverpool for a nerve block on the NHS, and it's a 45-week wait just for a consultation, so it might be much longer than that until I can have a nerve block on the NHS, but this would involve difficult travel to Liverpool.

I can't do this alone. I urgently need your support to make this treatment possible. We have just 48 hours to raise £2,500 to cover the costs.

Your donation, no matter the amount, will make a difference. Together, we can make this procedure a reality and help me take a step towards healing and recovery.

Please, donate what you can and share this appeal with your friends and family. Time is of the essence, and your generosity could change my life. Thank you for your kindness and support during this critical time.
