I've raised £300 to run the Great North Run.

Me and my Dad are running the Great North Run in September for Team Breathe, in memory of my beloved Grandad, my Dad's Father, who we sadly lost in May 2017.
My Grandad suffered from pulmonary fibrosis, which is a rare lung condition caused by the build up of scar tissue on the lungs, causing sufferers to experience severe shortness of breath, as well as other awful symptoms. For many people a definite cause of this cannot be found and therefore research is needed to help prevent this heart breaking disease.
Our family watched my Grandad's health deteriorate over the years as we saw him struggle with his breathing more and more each day, finally resulting in him struggling to even get out of bed. However, one thing which never changed was his brilliant sense of humour and natural wit.
My Grandad is thought about and missed deeply every single day but we have the best memories which we will cherish forever. We want to run the Great North Run to raise money for the British Lung Foundation to help improve the quality of life of sufferers, as well as to help the search for a definite cause. Most importantly, we want to make my Grandad proud.
Any donation will be hugely appreciated.
