Weʼve raised £5 to help to fund costs towards purchasing a secure home for a cystic fibrosis sufferer

Funded on Monday, 3rd September 2018

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

    Story

I'm desperately trying to raise funds to purchase a secure home for a family member who suffers badly with cystic fibrosis and is currently 41 yrs old.. they cannot work to secure a mortgage so therefore only option is to buy outright.. current accommodation is council and unfairly charging bedroom tax amongst other worries.. he lives with his wife and if anything happened to him then the council would have no problem in taking the property they are in now back and giving it to somebody else with children
So I am wanting to ensure both have security in knowing they can enjoy the time left without the worry of what's going to happen to his wife if the cystic fibrosis progresses.. as cystic fibrosis effects the heart lungs and other organs and can deteriorate rapidly .. from 2016 there has been a decline in lung function and obviously doesn't repair
