I've raised £500 to Devon Air Ambulance

One of my dreams when I was a horse mad teenager was to ride around Badminton. That was never going to happen! For many of you who know my story to actually have the chance to do this now is AMAZING.
Bryn, my CB X 14 yo mare suffered a kick that resulted in a front leg multiple tibia fracture. She was given a 5 -10% chance to survive. To complicate matters, she was 4 months in foal. Bryn was confined to 5 months in a stable with a Robert Jones bandage and metal support. At times I believe she wanted to give up and I was determined to do everything I could to make her survive. I sold everything I could to pay the vets fees. It was one of the worst times of my life. Just to add a little side note, I had suffered a brain haemorrhage and nursed my mother until she died some months before. What more could life throw at me?! It wasn't about money. it was about what really mattered..... LIFE and LOVE.
Amazingly, Bryn gave birth to a filly foal Everything Is Ticketyboo in June 2015. Last year after veterinary consultation, Bryn was given the all clear for rehab. It has taken 16 months to get her where she is now. Fun rides is all she might do that does not matter. She & Ticky are here and so am I. I want to raise funds for the DAAT, whom so many of us rely on, and raise the awareness of the endangered Cleveland Bays, who have been the foundation breed for so many today. I think this is a remarkable story, please support Bryn & me in making an ancient dream come to life.. Thank you xoxox
