Story

We are delight to announce the selection of our Junior Belfast Giants players for the 23/24 season to represent Scotland at an international level. Ranging from U11 to U17, these players travel monthly to train in Dumfries with their Scottish team mates and will be offered various opportunities throughout the season to participate in internationally competitive games.
On this occasion the Scotland teams have been invited to play at the EMF International Ice Hockey Tournament 2024 in Bratislava, Slovakia over 5 days. Representing the club and nation at this event will be U11 Arsenii Ivanov, Eli Dalton and Mark Makarovs, U13 Dylan Ferguson, U15 William-John Hanna and U17 Jude Beattie.
I’m sure you will agree, this is a massive achievement for these young athletes and we are looking forward to hearing about their experiences when they return.
Unfortunately being a minority sport in the UK all of this is self funded with the trip abroad being a substantial amount. We would love to raise as much as possible for these young Giants to help them go and do us all proud.
WE HAVE SET 2 GOALS - FIRST TARGET IS £1,200 TO GET THE KIDS THE DEPOSITE TO GO AND TRIGGER SCOTTISH ICE HOCKEYS OFFER TO MATCH UP TO £200 EACH IF THEY RAISE IT,
TARGET 2 IS TO COVER EVERYTHING AND RAISE AS CLOSE TO £6,000 AS WE CAN, BUT ANYTHING WE GET WILL BE AMAZING SO DON'T LET THAT PUT YOU OFF PLEASE.
We totally understand that times are hard, but every single pound donated will help and the players will be doing numerous sponsored events to top up the fund throughout the rest of the season.
Thank you in advance for all your generosity.
LET'S GO GIANTS!!
