Hello everyone, I've set up this just giving account because I would like to offer some help and support to a very close friend of mine. Almost 3 weeks ago a girl I've known for almost 20 years, lost her baby brother mark in a horrifically traumatic way. Mark was living in Falmouth, Cornwall when he was tasered twice by local policemen one night. This caused his heart to stop and he died. He was 30 years old, with his entire life ahead of him.

The last few years have been rough on their family, but they have always gotten through adversity with the support of each other. He spent the last few years nursing and looking after his own father that was dying of cancer. This family are incredibly close and have been for as long as I have known them. They stick together through thick and thin so to try to describe the horror and trauma this event has put them through is impossible.

The horrific and unjust circumstances surrounding this event had made it all the more traumatic. The life of your child/brother being taken in such a brutal and unnecessary way brings with it a huge amount of emotional trauma. There will be no closure from a funeral for many months due to an ongoing investigation by the police. For years to come the whole family will stay embroiled in a fight to find out how and why this happened to an innocent and harmless young man.

I'm asking for help from anyone that can afford any amount. The family are now under financial pressure at a time of immense grief. My friend will have to temporarily relocate back down to Cornwall to support and help her mother, and the rest of the family, all of which are now left bereft. It will help towards the cost of the funeral and any costs of solicitors during the time of the inquest. Any help and recognition of this injustice would be gratefully received.
